Hmmmmm interesting

The DB came home last night at 6.55pm and said could I stay an extra half hour so he could eat his KFC and get changed. I mean WTF? Does he not think I want to eat my tea and get home. So selfish. I said no she he was then whining about how he had let me go early the day before but that isn''t the point. Mom was saying as a surgeon probably no one ever says no to him so he is used to just getting his own way and wouldn't know how to react when I said no to him. Purlease, I mean I am not getting into things like that with this family. Why can't he just eat dinner when baby E is there. She's no trouble. He should try eating his food when looking after I, S, H and M LOL (My last charges) Baby E is a piece of cake and I managed to make her two full fresh meals and do the washing all while she was sitting playing. The guy wasn't dressed this morning when I arrived. He said she wouldn't let him ffs but she was just sitting there on the bed so no reason why he couldn't get dressed. Pathetic.

I tell you if Nannies just dealt with babies it would be much easier. The parents are the bigger babies. It does worry me that I feel this way already. Its not really a great sign. I'll stay for the money and because the baby is adorable. She is such a character. She closes her eyes and does this funny face and she gives me these looks almost like rolling her eyes. It's funny. She makes me laugh. Thank God for babies.

Just need a moan

Things are never straight forward in my jobs. I have no idea if there are even any normal nanny families out there anymore.

Got to work this morning to find the baby is sick again. I'm supposed to stay in the room or in the next room to her while she sleeps which I am now in her nursery and she is in the spare room.

The house is a complete tip but the MB at least said not to bother with it but not to leave the baby for 5 minutes. Oh and DB is coming home in an hour after a night shift so he will be here but hopefully in bed. I've been out for a half hour walk once in the two weeks since I started here and the baby has been sick the whole time.

The baby is on antibiotics, thrush medicine, calpol and nurofen. The MB also told me to give her lots of milk but she has never ever taken milk from me. She won't even take it from her Dad. Been here since 6.30am aswell.

On top of this the clothes that I hung up to dry are still all hanging there and it was Wednesday last week that I was last here. No one seems to do anything round here. The kitchen is a pigsty. There's no milk so no cuppa for me. No bread so had to use bread from my lunch to have for my breakfast. Got no chance of going out for any.

I understand they're worried about the baby but most people manage to worry about the baby but still function as a household.
